Nickelodeon needed to attract the next wave of new talent.

Nickelodeon is known as a creator-driven studio that has been making award-winning animated series for over 20 years. But the studios home on the web needed to do a better job of reflecting the passions of current show runners as well as attracting new talent. I was an integral part of the team that helped Nickelodeon establish a new declaration of fun and creativity.

With so much history to explore, the challenge was to create a clean, modern digital home that inspired the next generation. Nickelodeon was looking to the future to find both creative talent and dedicated employees that wanted to bring new show ideas to life.

“The new NAS website is a perfect representation of our reinvigorated studio and its ‘creator driven’ philosophy. The site is as beautiful, engaging and fun as our studio and the people who work in it.”

— Russel hicks, President of Content Development/Production at Nickelodeon Animation Studio

Because Nickelodeon has no overarching brand, each animated show uniquely reflects those that created it. Using behind-the-scenes video content, creator interviews, and original show illustrations, visitors quickly understood that Nickelodeon celebrates the creators as much as their hilarious creations.

To attract new and vibrant talent, we put together a recruitment video that brought to life the lighthearted always silly culture of Nickelodeon. In partnership with the ‘work here’ section of the site visitors were able to read through the talent development application process, learn more about artists currently participating in the program, and discover the latest career opportunities.
